Working together

Something has come to my attention and I feel the need to comment.  Every horse deserves their "happy ending" but unfortunately there are too many horses with no place to go.  Very few options for the lame, elderly or untrained horses.  I am grateful for the people who even take in one or two as they want to make a difference in the lives of these horses.  We have been a registered Federal Charity since 2003 and although we cannot save them all, have made a difference in the lives of the over 160 we have taken in and placed.  We need to work together and not criticize the smaller groups offering assistance to the horses in need. We all want the same thing for as many horses as possible and the more willing to help, the better.  Thank you to everyone who cares.  We hope to have Sisi, the blind horse presently in foster care here as soon as possible.  The rain/mud has slowed down the preparation for her arrival.
