Within minutes of making a donation through CanadaHelps.org to the HorseRescueOntario.org federally registered charity (www.HorseRescueOntario.org) Charitable Business Number 857961247RR001, you will receive an electronic tax receipt mailed to the email address you provided. You can save and print this receipt at any time to use for income tax purposes. Because CanadaHelps.org is a charity (Charitable Business Number 896568417RR0001), you will be receipted for your donation by CanadaHelps.org. The only fee that may be deducted from a donation is the credit card transaction fee assessed by Visa and MasterCard. The rest of the money goes directly to help the horses.

Adoption
Sometimes there are horses available for adoption. Most of the horses here presently are lame and unable to be ridden but many would make a good companion horse.
If you are interested in adopting a horse, please fill out, print, and mail our Adoption Application form.
Sponsorship
Most of the horses here are permanently lame and are available for sponsorship. Each horse here costs approximately $100.00 -$120.00 a month in feed and expenses, but any monthly amount would help with their care.
Georgia and her family sponsor Desiree, a very smart Appy pony who enjoys the weekly visits and attention she receives from Georgia.

-Wormers, Vet Supplies etc
-Halters, Pails and General horse supplies
-Lumber, Building/ Structure supplies
