We would like to thank Nicole and Philip for their help with chores on Monday, Nov. 12, and Michelle for her help with grooming on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The horses loved the attention.
We would like to welcome "Bailey's Bay" who arrived this morning to join the herd. Jodi Gray kindly brought her from the holding pen near Ottawa (with 4 others)where 18 horses were rescued from going to slaughter within 3 days when we became aware of this crisis. Thank you to everyone involved with this wonderful rescue! Special thanks to Karen Boswell for sponsoring and paying "bail" for Bailey's Bay. Thank you to Christina and all the others involved!! Miss Bailey, who is blind in one eye is doing great! We would like to welcome Thor, a lovely 26 year old TB whose Hunter Jumping days are over and he needed a place to live out his remainder years. He arrived on Monday and has settled in nicely with the herd. He loves his meals and enjoys the night time stall.
Thank you to Butch and Staff of Rose Hill Liquidation for holding our Fundraising BBQ with cartoon Bob. It was a good success and hope to do another one in September. Thank you to everyone who came out in support.
