Special Thanks
2010 has been a year of miracles. We are grateful for all of you who have supported our mission in helping as many horses as possible to have a safe and happy place of refuge. We would like to thank Agribrands Purina for their on-going support, Georgia Wong and family for their sponsorship of Desiree and the weekly visits. We would like to thank Alix for her fundraising Golf tournament in memory of her dear friend, Sarah, June`s kindness in thinking of the horses in memory of her daughter, Rosie. Betty, John and Taylor for all their help this past year. Tessa, Heather, Moosa and Grayden for their fundraising with the support of the students and teachers at Chalmers Public School, Claire,Brittany, Janine, Kelly, Peter, Bailey, Kortney for their many visits and carrots and all the other people who have kindly donated money and items for the horses. A special thank you to the caring couple fostering Sisi who is underweight and blind until we can build her a safe place of her own here. Thank you all for caring. We would like to thank four very special young people and their school for a very successful fundraiser for the horses. Tessa Freitas, Heather Lundrigan, Moosa Bowman and Grayden Lyons at Chalmers Street Public School worked very hard at recess, lunchtime and any time they could to raise money for the horses and the Cambridge SPCA. They organized and held a Fun Day for the students, too. We would also like to thank their grade 6 teacher, Mark Burbidge, the principal, staff and students of Chalmers Street Public School for their kindness. You are all amazing!!

It was very kind and generous of June and Mike O'Brien to think of the horses when they lost their lovely daughter, Rosie, and to all the people who donated in her memory.

A very special thank you to the caring couple fostering a blind and severely underweight horse until we can build a shelter for Sisi. We don't presently have enough shelter for a new horse but hope to in the spring.
